The last of us will not have Neel Drukman on the wheel in the third and fourth season of HBO, nor will it have heli gross. Druckmann co-produced the original the last of as game, and directed The Last of US Part 2 (which is also a gross co-writing).
Druckmann broke his news Instagram: “I have taken a difficult decision to move away from my creative participation in the last of us on HBO.
“With the completion of the complete work on season 2 and before any meaningful work starts on season 3, now the right time for me is that I have my responsibilities to focus my responsibilities on nuclear dogs and its future projects, including my exciting next game, intergalactic: The Heritic Prophet, and my responsibilities as the head of the studio heads and the creators.”
Druckmann continues: “The co-producer of the show has highlighted a career. It is an honor for Craig Majin as well as an honor to write executive production, direct and in the last two sessions. I am deeply grateful to the thoughtful approach and dedication that talented artists and crews took the final part of the US Partis 1 to adopt the final part of the US Partition.”
Gross also announced its departure from the series InstagramAdding: “With great care and thoughts, I have decided to withdraw a step from my day-to-day work, which is to make a place to make everywhere to come on us. I appreciate how special this experience has been. Working with Neil, Craig, HBO and it is changing the life of notable artists and crew.
“The stories we had told – love, loss, and what it means to be human in a terrible world, in fact I love this franchise. I have some really red projects that I can’t wait to share, but for now, I want to express my gratitude to all those who bring the world of Eli and Joel to life with this kind of care.”
All of this takes a major setback for HBO adaptation, which started strong and later like a flounder. Shorner Craig Magin, which will probably be left only one to carry the flame, yet assumes that it has two more seasons, which draw a one-game plot of the US Part 2 in a three-season arc.
To be fair, Part 2 is very large in the radius, but in my humble opinion, you are less creative working in a show, it is really difficult to write it well. Solo autores are one in one million, and yet, they need gross in a drukman or gross without often (George Lucas, anyone?), You will be surprised that the last of them will be surprised.
