If the subtitle is not a delivery for you, this Spanish crime thriller is fully entitled to a location on your wochelist. Directed by Carlos Seds (the most famous Netflix’s “The Asunta Case” series), this chilling film investigates the dark side of human nature and how condemnable the truth may look when the intentions of truth come in playing intentions. Most of all, “a widow’s game” is based on a real murder case in Valencia, Spain since 2017.

When a person is stabbed seven times in a quiet residential parking, the authorities initially suspect a tragic crime of passion. But as the investigation is underway, Spotlight Land on an unexpected suspect: Maje (Ivana Bakwaro), the young widow of the victim, whose calm death in front of such a cruel crime reduces her suspicion.

Instead of focusing on committing a crime, who committed the crime, “a widow’s game” digging in the purpose of highlighting how easy it is to fall under the influence of manipulation. It is an entertaining, slow-burn thriller who challenges the audience to consider how well we know how well those people.

While “The Wild Robot” may have lost the best animated feature award for “flow” in 2025 Oscars, I argue that this spotlight is worthy of sharing. When I saw it in theaters, this Dreamworks Jem cried me ugly, there was no small part for the touch of Lupita Nyong ‘O, which was stumbling through a robot and high and climb of paternity as a robot. Blind, it is also a stuner, with animation that rivals the movies “Spider-Wors” in both style and ambition.

Peter Brown’s cute children’s book, adapted from “The Wild Robot”, is directed by the animation legend Chris Sanders, “How to train your dragon” and “Lilo and Stitch” behind the mind. (Funny facts: He repeats his role in the form of sewing in a live-action reboot that hits theaters.)

When she gets trapped on a remote island every day, she does not remember how she reached there, she goes out to find her purpose. She learns to alive her strange new world by looking at her nearby animals, eventually befriends a willy Fox (Pedro Pascal) and becomes an adopted adopted mother for an orphan Gosling (Kit Connor). The result is tender and heartbreaking in every way as it seems.

Some of the ’80s slashers are searching for adventure at the end of this week? The latest installment of Netflix in its RL Stein-inspired “Fear Street” series is here. “Fear Street: Prom Queen” may probably not hit the same height as its predecessors, but it is still a stylishly horrific ride that is packed with large hair and even big scared. This is just the case if you are already in a state of a Halloween mind.

This time, we have returned to the cursed city of Cursed city of Shadside in 1988. Lori Granger (India Fauler), a student of Walflower High School, is shocked when she is enrolled with the most popular (and bloodshed) girls of the school for Prom Queen. But this spotlight soon proves to be a two -edged sword, especially in view of gendering whisper that her mother killed her father at night at night.

As the prom closes the night, when a masked killer crashes to the party, one by one ends the prom court and turns the festival into a blood-soaked Scream Fest.
