
Nintendo has announced It is opening its fourth store in Japan by the end of 2025 in Fukuoka.
Further details at the moment are rare, but Nintendo says that the Store will be located in Junior Haqata City (EMU Plaza), which includes clothes shops, retailers, restaurants, and more in a large shopping mall.
Fukuoca is the sixth largest city in Japan and the capital of Fukuoka province. It is located within the island of Kyushu, Japan, which means that the main industry island is quite different from the house of Honshu, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya and Hiroshima.
The upcoming Nintendo Fukuoka store will be included in the existing branches in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, of which the latter was opened in October 2023. Meanwhile, joining Nintendo New York in the US is the new San Francisco branch, recently open on 15 May 2025.
Nintendo of the US President and COO Daug Boussar led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the store offers customers the opportunity to customize their switch joy-con colors. Short replicas of the character statues of the store are also available.
