Nintendo must have finally felt that the switch is a lot of garbage in the Ishop. The company quietly took out a new set of publishing guidelines for developers, which were looking to put their games on Nintendo Switch 2 Isop in Asia, but it is not clear whether similar rules are coming in other areas.
Developers who have access to Nintendo Switch Eshop Developer Portal have confirmed Ign The new guidelines effective on 5 June, which was launched on Switch 2 on the same day. These rules are specific to Japan and other Asian regions for now, but they seem to be aimed at cutting the “slope”, less than pushing adults to the front pages, and simply usually makes a better place to browse switch 2 eshop.
In the new rules, the nintendo game is cracked on the game bundles, which is a huge win. A game is out for the first year, developers can offer only a maximum of five different game bundles. After that initial year, developers can add another bundle per year, a grand total up to eight. This is a clear response to companies that make “bundle spam”, which artificially leaves its game artificially fisting and artificially high on the front page leaves new, heavy concessional bundles.
Nintendo has also set specific criteria to consider “harmful to the nintendo brand”. This involves too much that you will expect: children’s sexualization (of course), excessive sexual content, discrimination, hatred speech, exploiting social issues, directing criminal activity, and more than political statements. Nevertheless, Nintendo is firm on the fact that its list is not complete and sometimes decisions can be made on a regional basis.

If you buy used games, your switch can get 2 nintendo ban
You may be punished for the previous owner who rips the game.
Another major change is a ban on wrong sports details. Any more promising characteristics that are not really in sports, or something is “under development” when you really have no plans to add it. This is a very big win for users, because it means that we can expect more rely on pages.
The company is also ending to change the name of a product without a great reason or change the information on the live product page. Developers will need to contact Nintendo if they plan to distribute an application that does not include “game elements”, then we should see less apps and more games.
With these updates, Nintendo is making it clear that any developers who violate these guidelines will face results. The company may refuse to sell the product, demand amendment, limit its visibility, or even suspend the distribution completely. Nintendo is also giving the right to take legal action. These changes should make the store more secure for users.
Eshop is recently a bit of a wild west when it comes to quality control, especially with suspicious sports that pop up everywhere. If you are recently on PlayStation Store or Nintendo Eshop, you probably saw what I am talking about. Nevertheless, despite being fully aware of the issues, our own fell, so I would say that we need these protection on Eshop.
