Nintendo has found its link and Zelda for its in-development live-action movie which is for the conversion of The Legend of Zelda. Benjamin Ivan Einworth (Ghost of Bailey Manor, Recycling man)) The link will portray the Silent Warrier Nayak of The Game Series, and Bo Bragason (Renegade Neil, Rashlies) Wils’ princess will portray Zelda.
Ainsworth is 16 years old, indicating that the link may be a small character in this adaptation, while the Bragason is 21 years old. Despite today’s casting news, however, there is still no word on whether this adaptation will follow a story from a game or something completely new. Nintendo announced this news through trademark Post on X Shiigru Miamoto, a game designer, director and co-producer of Legend of Zelda.
“This is Miamoto,” reads the post. “I am happy to announce that for The Legend of Zelda’s live-action film, Zelda will be played by Bo Bragson-San San Sanath, and will be linked by Benjamin Ivan Ein Isworth-San. I am very keen to see both on the big screen.”
The film will hit theaters on May 7, 2027.
Nintendo originally announced the release date for this live-action adaptation as March 26, 2027, which was the first time news on its Nintendo Today app. However, last month, the company delayed the film by May 7, 2027.
