
Switch 2 comes in this June, and as part of it, there are some things in the nintendo that need to be prepared before the arrival of the new system.
This involves releasing a new firmware update for the original switch today, which delivers the device to 20.0.0.0 edition and adds new features to the home menu including virtual game cards, gameshire, and more. Nintendo has also made some changes in the icon on the home menu.
Along with this, the capacity of “System Transfer to Nintendo Switch 2” has also been added under the System Settings> System. Here are full patch notes for courtesy of this latest update of Nintendo’s official support page:

- The following icons have been added for new features Home menu,
- Virtual game card
- The purchased nintendo switches are digital software, DLC and some free software, now virtual game cards and are displayed in a list in this menu.
- You can virtually load and eject virtual game cards between two nintendo switch systems.
- Virtual game cards can be lended to others in the same Nintendo Account Family Group. See for more information Virtual sports card guide,
- Gamashayar
- Compatible software can be shared in other nearby systems (S) from a nintendo switch 2 system to play together.
- You can only play together through local wireless, and the nintendo switch 2 system will have to start gameshire.
- This feature cannot be used between two nintndo switch, nintendo switch – OLED model and/or nintendo switch light system.
- Compatible software can be shared in other nearby systems (S) from a nintendo switch 2 system to play together.
- Virtual game card
- User-satisfaction settings Has been added under User> User Settings,
- You can restrict access Virtual game card The need for the entry of a pin or signing into your nintendo account is needed.
- Online license settings Has been added.
- When turning on, you have purchased the downloaded software or DLC by you, while the system is connected to the Internet, even if you do not have a virtual game card load.

- Many saved data can be selected and transferred to the “Transfer Your Save Data” menu at a time.
- System transfer to Nintendo Switch 2 Has been added under System Settings> System,
- You can transfer a system to nintendo switch 2 from your nintendo switch using local communication.
- For those users who will lose access to their nintendo switch before receiving their nintendo switch 2, an option to upload system transfer data to a dedicated server, which can then be recovered to their nintendo switch 2. When you upload your system transfer data to the dedicated server, the nintendo switch system will be started for the factory, only the transfer can transfer.
- If you want to continue the use of your nintendo switch until you have a nintendo switch 2, we recommend to complete the system transfer using local communication after acquiring a nintendo switch 2 system.
- An internet connection and nintendo account are required to complete both local and server-based system transfer service.

Note that the use of “primary console” has been represented with infection in the virtual game card, and instead “pass-competent console” will be used. On a console set as “pass-competent console” for the user, all users on the console can reach some membership or pass for some software.
