You would not have thought much about the recent updates of Nintendo, who introduced the “virtual” game card in the nintendo switch, but when you think a little about it, there are some intensive implications for the digital game.
I like the switch light
An interesting side effects of the virtual game card are that now I have a lot of inspiration to use our switch light again. Both my wife and I have regular switches of full size, but I always liked the form factor of switch lights. It was actually a reasonable handheld I could take place. It was almost portable as my new 3DS XL, but sadly not fold in half. Not at least one more than once.

Switch OLED vs. Switch Vs. Switch Light: Which one should you buy?
No switch yet? Here is a guide to help you decide which one to get.
It is not ideal to make light my primary switch
Unfortunately, neither I nor my wife used our switch light for a really fabulous reason – how to handle nintendo accounts. The way the work was done before the arrival of the virtual game card is that you had to nominate one of your switch console as primary. Primary console does not need to be constantly online. Any game you loaded will work indefinitely offline, as it has a permanent saved license on the device.

Nintendo’s virtual game card almost (but not enough) what is the need of digital games
So close to the north.
Your secondary switch acts exactly like primary, except that if you lose your internet connection for any reason, you get out of your game until you can connect again. Since the switch is a light console, I really want to leave the house, it means that it will have to be a primary console.
The problem with this is that my dock switch will then throw a fit every time when my fiber goes out, which is sad, sometimes there can be some time in the day.
Now I can use a small switch without messing up with console settings
Thanks to the virtual card system, now I just have to do just to choose the games that I want to play on my switch light, while it is online, and then virtually load them. After downloading, you can play them on that console indefinitely until you take them back.
The only catch is that when you move the virtual card around, you need to be both console online, and they have to stay close to each other physically.
Even better, both my wife and I have registered the lights in our different accounts, and it turns out that we can also play each other’s game on the light. So, basically, all users on a switch can play a virtual game card on that system, like you can do a physical cartridge.
Honestly, it is a full game-shineer for me, and the switch light will definitely stop collecting dust now.
Some games are better on lights
Some switch games are usually better in handheld mode, and in my case with my OLED games Diablo II: Rejuvenated The best played on that inky OLED panel. However, something is to be said for better pixel density of switch lights, and many 3D games that look much more chunky on regular switch screen sizes, in my opinion the switch is more pleasant on the light.

Switch 2 LCD is a large upgrade on OLED switch
OLED is not the only thing that matters.
Therefore, I am slowly sorting my game to those I want to take with me or play on a crisper switch light screen, and this is the advantage of drawing my available game storage in a whole additional switch. Pixel art games can also look much better on small LCDs, which extends 8-inch compared to the same 720p resolution.
Nintendo should have done before this year
When we got the switch light, I did not know that every time I wanted to leave home with small console, I would have to go through the entire primary console registration dance. Sure, it’s okay how it works, says, a playstation 5, but it is not a handheld console! I foolishly believed that Nintendo had a sensible solution for those who had a switch light as their secondary switch.

Can you bring your switch collection?
Well, now this is the solution in the switch, but I really want them to think about it many years ago. At least now, with Switch 2 released soon, we will start a generation with a virtual game card as a feature. Now what I really want to see has the ability to give or sell virtual game cards permanently, but it is probably to ask too much.
