Right with the bat, let’s make one thing very clear. Many of the best soundbar spend one hand and one leg, and for good reasons. To rival your local IMAX at home enough, to be powerful to the room-filled sound, it is going to spend you.
For example, Sonos Arc Ultra has a huge 9.1.4 channel setup with virtual dolby atomos surround, which is probably as close as you can get for the home theater (without disturbing the process Kumar area).
However – and this is one Big However – Sonos arch is also ultra One thousand Big ones. Yes – $ 999 for a soundbar. Hek, even the semi-basic Bose Smart Soundar is individually $ 499. Now more than ever, it seems difficult for most people to arrive.
So when I got Majority Naga 60 Soundbar for $ 67 (not typo, yes, just sixty-seven), I knew that I had to test it. Apparently the $ 67 soundbar is never going to be Sonos or Bose rival, but I was really pleasant. And why is it here?
Unexpected copy-dolbee atomos
I clearly propose this by saying that this soundbar does not have Dolby Atomos. This is $ 67. It is a 2.1 channel Soundbar. The majority Naga 60 does not have any correct immersive 360 ° audio – nor do many best cheap soundbar.
So why it looked almost like it Does,
When I was watching ‘Stranger Things’ (as one does when the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is going to be held later this year), I really felt as if I was in the scene. During the sections with the walkie-talkies, the dialogue seemed as if it was coming around me.
Do not misunderstand me, Naga 60 is not right. It struggles with female voices and super lower bass (but more on subwoofer in a second). However, it performs Enough The TV is better than the speaker, so it is definitely a worthy upgrade from a TV.
If you have received Samsung TV, however, can I indicate you towards Samsung HW-B650? It has a 3.1 channel setup and although it is $ 249, it is a completely Soundbar + Subwoor Combo.
brick by brick
Although it is a very cheap soundbar, it has a premium feature that lacks some other large name brands: a subwuffer out.
This means that you can get a third-party subwofer (only wired) and connect it to Naga 60 for a bassier setup. Of course, the soundbar does not have an additional output for the surround speaker, so the setup will remain 2.1 channel, but this is a very respectable start for home theater setup.
Interestingly, the $ 99 Sony HT-S100f Soundbar is not out of subworks, nor is $ 99 majority alias. So if you are a TV/AV novice and you want to submerge your toe into cosmic water, I think Naga 60 is a very decent starter soundbar.
At the top of a subworker being out, Naga 60 is a Bluetooth Soundbar. I was able to link my phone and Spotify app to run music, so it doubles as a speaker in a pinch.
However, if you have received a little extra $ $ $, I recommend Polk Signa S4 Number one Entry-Level Home Theater Setup. It has a 3.1.2 channel setup with wireless subwoofers, and while its MRSP Super-Budget is much higher than NAGA 60, it is completely unprecedented.
Now, sacrifice
Given the extremely low price, obviously some corners have been cut – some sacrifices have been made.
In the case of the majority Naga 60, these sacrifices are three times: 1) It is a annoying, fidley setup, 2), its semi-elevated heavy design, and 3) its sound sometimes comes to the Tinni city.
Tinony City is not a real place-this is just something that I have created to describe cheap low quality audio gear. You know, when poor driver or speaker first converts bass and mids into flat, lifeless sound and stands up their earrings, such as can it be inside your brain by shaking someone’s tin? He.
Thankfully, it is relatively easy to avoid tinness on Naga 60 – just put a soundbar on the ‘movie’ mode and activate the ‘3D sound’. Never touch these settings. I can assure you that any other sound mode you think I am crazy to suggest this soundbar.
Another issue is a disappointing setup. I did not find a soundbar to work on initial unboxing, so I had to reach the majority. An engineer instructed me to feed with his TV settings (I discuss how to do this in my majority Naga 60 review), and Ta-da! it worked.
Finally, design. I find a lot of soundbar relatively ugly (except Marshal Haston 120), but Naga 60 is slightly Excessive Ugly. It is heavy and strangely tall. However, this is truly a qualified tradeoff for a cost of $ 67.
