After a gap of two years, nothing was launched on Tuesday, its new flagship phone. At an event in London, the company unveiled the phone (3), starting at $ 799 and its purpose is to take Bigwigs such as Samsung and Apple with its differential design and the facility to target technical enthusiasts.

Since releasing the phone (1) in 2022, the GV-supported startup has trusted a transparent design to make its phone out of others.

The phone (3) follows the same design language, but it introduces a stranger camera system that prevents the specific class or circular alignment found on other smartphone devices. (If you are someone who is triggered by unligned elements on websites or apps, then this camera system can make you crazy!)

Nothing is also in favor of arranging LEDs on its back – a feature that he calls Gliff. It was always gimmick to some extent, but the company used it to show you different alerts and information using LED lights.

Now, the company is replacing Gliff with a small spherical mini LED screen, called glyph matrix, behind the device on the top right.

The joint displays a 16-bit style pattern, which can provide more information than the earlier gliff arrangements.

The company is also releasing mini-apps for this interface, such as spin the bottle and rock, paper, scissors.

This is 2025, so the phone also has to include some AI-operated features. At the time of launch it contains two characteristics called the required space and essential search.

The company first introduced essential space, an app to save the screenshot and take notes, nothing at the phone (3A) Pro. Now, nothing is upgrading this app so that you can record meetings and see AI Transcription and Summary.

To use the feature, you have to press the key required and keep the phone with the screen side to start recording. Although it seems potentially useful, there is nothing web interface to reach these transcriptions and summary at this time.

Nothing is also required – a feature such as the spotlight search of the iPhone – and to infect it with AI.

This search feature allows you to type settings, files or photos on your phone by typing in the keyword.

In addition, you can type in natural language questions to get web results by pressing a button next to the search bar. It is similar to the upgraded Siri interface of the iPhone, which is integrated with chatgpt.

    Specifications and availability

The new smartphone has comparable specifications for other companies’ Android flagship.

It includes a 6.67 -inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, preserved by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 General 4 processor, built on a 4-nenometer architecture.

The trio of all cameras has a 50-megapixel resolution, but plays various roles. The main camera has a 1.3 -inch sensor, which is 20% larger than the phone (2) on AF/1.68 aperture; The periscope telephoto lens AI super race zoom offers 3x optical zoom, and 60X digital zoom; And the ultra-wide lens provides a view of 114 degrees.

Nothing is also upgrading the selfie camera from 32 megapixels.

The phone (3) has a 5,150 mAh battery (5,500 mAh in its India variant) with support for 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

The company said that the phone will ship nothing with OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15, and will be updated to OS 4.0, based on Android 16 later this year. It was noted that the flagship device would get a five -year software update and seven -year security updates.

The company will sell the phone’s 256GB model (3) in $ 799 and 512GB model in $ 899. At this price, the phone competes directly with the Samsung Galaxy S25, which was released at the base of $ 799 earlier this year.

The pre -order for the device begins on July 15 with a general availability on 15 July.

As Techcrunch reported last month, there is nothing (3) available in the US through its website and Amazon. This is the second device, after the phone (2), the company is providing widely. Its other budget equipment were available only through a restrictive beta program.
