NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5050 for GPU Desktop, launched gaming laptop: Price, Specifications

The NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5050 was unveiled by the company on Tuesday as its admission level RTX graphics card for desktops and laptops. It is the successor of GeForce RTX 3050, which was unveiled in CES 2022. The new GEFORCE RTX 5050 GPU has NVIDIA Blackwell Cuda core and is equipped with 8GB video memory. It sits under the RTX 5060 GPU, and provides support for Ray Tracing, Nvidia Reflex, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation (MFG).

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 Price, Availability

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 pricing starts at $ 249 (about Rs 21,400) and will be sold by various OEMs, including asus, colorful, genword, galaxy, gigabyte, inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. These GPUs will be available to buy in the second half of July.

Laptops equipped with NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5050 are now available for purchase, and pricing starts at $ 999 (about 85,900 rupees). Asus is the first OEM to launch a gaming laptop equipped with the new Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU in India.

The new GEFORCE RTX 5050 GPU from NVIDIA has 2.57GHz peak clock speed, and has 2,560 Blackwell CUDA core, as well as the fifth generation tenser core and the fourth generation randed core. This device offers 440 trillion operations per second (TOPS) on AI features.

Connectivity features at GeForce RTX 5050 include HDMI2.1B port and three displayers support for 2.1B port. The desktop version of the RTX 5050 draws up to 130W (stock speed), and the company says that it offers up to 60 percent of the GEFORCE RTX up to 60 percent of the performance compared to the 3050s, which was released two years ago.
