NYT connection today (Game #693) – Answer
The answers to today’s connections, game #693, are …
- Yellow: Overqueous meat properties Chewy, Dry, Hard, Hard
- Green: Some electric guitars play Jam, Noodle, Shred, Solo
- Blue: Bubble Tea Ingredients Boba, milk, sugar, tea
- Purple: planet/ dwarf planet Changed with the first letter Blueto, car, darth, genus
- my rating: medium
- my score: 1 mistake
I am not sure I would describe Chewy, dry, rigid and hard as “qualities”, but it was thinking about eating something unpleasant that inspired me to add them together. It was not just overcome the meat which was in my mind.
I used to work in the meat department in a large supermarket and it worked with animals with which I worked, which made me away from meat for 15 years, rather than Erm’s idea, to eat animals.
Lab-cow meat, untouched by humans and cultivated by robots, as far as I am concerned, can not come quickly enough.
My mistake came to think that we were looking for elements of a classic English teeve instead of materials in a bubble tea – so I jam instead of Boba (like spreading on one scon).
After finishing it, I was able to put another meaning of the jam along with some other things, which enjoy butchers like the butcade music with my electric guitar.
How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below.

What is NYT connection?
The NYT connection is one of the many fast popular words made by the New York Times. This challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in general, and each group has a different difficulty level: green is easy, yellow is a bit hard, blue is often quite hard and purple is usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not need to solve the final one technically, as you will be able to answer that from the process of eradicating one. What is more, you can make four mistakes, which gives you a breathing room.
It contains slightly more than something like a vadal, however, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game that you travel with a trip. For example, look for homophones and other word games that can hide the answers.
