Apple product launch is one of the most anticipated, intensity hypnotized technical events of the year, especially September iPhone extraordinary. The entire technical industry stops when Apple talks when it talks about at least something really interesting and new.

For me, this time there was a new high blood pressure alert that attracted attention which was coming in Apple Watch 11. This was the first thing to be mentioned, and this is the first slide Apple Watch 11 Pages On Apple Site.
In fact, I was just to pre -order for that feature on an Apple Watch 11. I started writing my article to tell you about it when I decided to go to Apple Watch 11 page and ensure that I had the correct details about pricing and availability.
But in the midst of promotion, a relatively prominent footnot attracted my attention. Sometimes, health facilities take some time to release health facilities due to regulatory approval. I decided to read the footnote to get all the details.
What does it say in the big print here:
As of September 9, 2025, high blood pressure notifications are currently under the FDA review and should be expected this month, with the Apple Watch Series 9 and later and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later with availability.
Hmm…
My current Apple Watch is a series 9. It is completely functional, and battery life is still good. It is in a very good condition, without a single scratch on its face. It is also fully equipped with GPS and cellular.
Apart from this: You can pre -order apple new devices this week: iPhone 17, Watch 11, AirPods Pro 3 and more
So, in large prints, Apple says, “Series 11 can see signs of chronic hypertension and give you potential hypertension.” Later under the page, Apple again states, “And now series 11 takes the next big step in heart health with a leading feature – hypertension notifications.”
I mean, is it not really seriously that high blood pressure information series are new with 11? And yet, small prints say that old apple watches will also get that facility.
I have contacted Apple pR About this. Are there any features unique for Apple Watch 11 that will affect how this feature works?
Apple Watch and Health
Despite the confusion, the big tech here is that Apple Watch is an unprecedented tool for basic health monitoring.
After a health intimidation a few years ago, I have become very healthy. I eat the right, remain active, and monitor about every important signal at home. I have a Digital blood pressure phlegm And one pulse oximeter That I live around to take measurements, but I do not always remember, and they are a bit like a problem to use.
On the other hand, the blood oxygen app on my watch is there, as is the monitoring of the heart rate. Whenever I am doing or doing any kind of strong activity, I often examine those people, because they are right on my wrist. I use a sleep tracker, again, because it is always there, right on my wrist.
Hypertension notification facility is just another aspect of Apple Watch that provides a fairly decent quantitated self-grabbing kit. Yes, there is no doubt that Apple Watch cannot substitute for professional analysis. But it is always there and always ready, and it is a big win.

Combine that with falling alerts, GPS and cellular service, and Apple Watch offers a cat of peace of mind for a piece of plastic and glass sitting on your wrist. But do you need to buy a new series 11 to get this new hypertension alert facility? I don’t think so.
Are you considering upgrading to Apple Watch Series 11 for Hypertension Notification feature? Do you think Apple should make it clear that the alert series 9, Ultra 2 and later models will also be available? How much do you rely on your apple watch (or any other wearable) for health monitoring compared to dedicated medical devices such as blood pressure phlegm? Do such characteristics give you more peace of mind, or do you worry that they can provide false sense of safety? Let us know in the comments below.
