Lacks of deficiencies do not matter at this price
As a budget mouse, the G305 has to clearly compromise some compromise. When it comes to construction quality in my opinion, there is no compromise. However, as usual, there are people who complain about micro-switch in every mouse, and there are people who simply upgrade them. Although I play a fair bit, and after just a year, I have stopped working on my G305 (touch wood).
Actual shortcomings are noticeable, depending on your approach. First, there is no USB connectivity, and as I mentioned, no Bluetooth. You should use that lightspide dongle. You cannot use the integrated receiver of Loditech with this mouse, so that the dongle is going with you no matter what. However, if you were using a wired mouse, you have to leave a USB port anyway, so think it as a mouse with a display of USB, but without a real wire, and it is still a win-win situation.
