Openai wants Chatgpt to learn more about you, including your email, calendar event in the Google calendar, and even to include your Google contacts, even to refer to everything in a conversation.
In a new Assistant document Update, Openai confirmed that it is rolling out in Chatgpt (Pro) for Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts connectors.
For those unknown people, connectors allow you to connect therd-party services with Chatgpt. Once a service is added, the chattt can refer to it in chat.
For example, Openai recently added dropbox support to GPT connectors. If you have dozens of files in your dropbox, you can provide chatgpt to account and refer to it in future questions or intensive research.
Similarly, the slap can now refer to Google services when relevant.
The idea is that to bring information from these devices to make it faster and easier, your conversation without manually selecting them manually.
“Pro Users globally (GET) Plus, Team, Enterprise and EDU plan in the coming weeks,” Openai said.
You can turn Google Connector or other connectors with settings → connecters → connect to the application.

Turning facilities for deep research allows you to use them for chatgpt conversations.
If you have already given deep research access to Gmail or Google Calendar, you do not need to turn the connectors independently.
You can already use contacts in Gmail, Google Calendar and Chat.
