Outlook down? Microsoft are working on fix after thousands of users

Microsoft’s outlook is currently below for many users globally, and the company has admitted that there is an ongoing issue that is affecting access to its email service. Users have reported that they are unable to use emails through the Microsoft Outlook, IOS and Android for Android and the email through the Outlook app for Windows and Mac Computer. The company says the issue is related to its mailbox infrastructure, and it is working on applying a fix to solve the outage already running outage.

Microsoft applies fix in an attempt to restore access to email service

Users began reporting issues with the downtime tracker dudator to reach Outlook on Thursday. At the time of publishing this story, there were more than 800 reports of users, stating that they did not have access to service. The tracker also revealed that 62 percent of the users said they were unable to log in to their outlook account, while 34 percent of the users could not reach the website.

Microsoft has already accepted the technical issue affecting many users. The company’s service health status website indicates that Outlook email service is affected by “service declining” and the latest update of Microsoft says that some users are unable to reach the outlook through “any connection methods”.

The company has also confirmed that Outage has influenced the outlook website, the outlook apps for the smartphone and the connection made with the Outlook app for the computer. Outage affects Microsoft’s outlook service for consumers, but does not have Microsoft 365 service for enterprises.

To deal with the ongoing Outlook outage, Microsoft says it is in the process of implementing configuration changes and restarting the components affected by the outage. It is also doing other verification to check the configuration of certification components related to email service.
