Map becomes medium
The origin of Peer has a dynamic 3D map of the world – a new substrate where digital experiences are anchored in real places. It is not a sports world or escapest simulation – it is a living layer that mixes physical and digital in a constant environment. Users appear as avatars associated with real world and virtual places, with full control over their visibility and appearance.
Powered by GPS and VPS (virtual positioning system), the peer converts the map into an interactive space, where people can detect materials, leave materials, discover others and build communities. Unlike traditional apps or games, it is a digital reality that begins with the real world – it feels authentic, grounded and alive. Where Pokémon limits you to move around your IRL location, Peer lets you travel anywhere in the world and then jump to jump into the map.

“This is an agent operating system,” Tran said. “You can ask your AI to go and maybe talk to someone and make a connection. And so your AI will really fly to another person and say, ‘Hey, you know, would you like to join with my boss?”
He said, “If you have lost a cat, instead of posting posters on the road, your AI can go from a person to a person and ask and show an image and say,” Hey, have you seen this cat? ” And this is where we can actually make AI agent. And it can basically clone AI.
In this way, you can be in many places in the world at once, if you decide to send your agents out at the same time. You can be the owner of the property and it can be verified on the blockchain, but Tran said that the company explained the technology as a separate company.
According to Tran, Peer is the first platform that allows the whole world to enter the same simulation-MMO-on a planet-fame tied to the world-world-made MMO-which is completely accessible from any mobile phone.

Tran’s team was going in July 2021, including a main group of people working on an app called Zenley. He spent five years on that former project, and was acquired and then closed.
“We saw the AI wave moving forward.
