    LocketPhoto-sharing apps that allow users to share images with friends who are then displayed on the screen of their home as a widget, want to stay on your radar, and it is linging the help of famous celebrities.

    Lockents emerged as a contestant when launched in 2022, when it offers a more authentic way to connect with others. The app holds a widget on the iPhone home screen that updates with the latest photos added by friends. Users can select 20 close friends, which can create an intimate place for unflied selfies and updates on their lives.

    The app claims that the total downloads of over 80 million are more than 9 million daily active users, and its users have shared more than 10 billion photos to date. In particular, the company also shared with Techcrunch that it gained profitability in 2024, with an important achievement to its relatively minor funding efforts only $ 12.5 million efforts.

    To run the additional increase, the locket has been quietly testing a feature called “Celebrity Locket” for the last six months, which was officially declared by the app on Wednesday.

    Founder Matt Moss told Techcrunch, “With a post going directly on the home screen of fans, it provides the kind of immedia and intimacy that other platforms cannot repeat, turn passive followers into active participants.”

    Lockett allows artists to choose several fans to connect with 1,000 to 15,000 slots. For example, Suki has 5,000 fans on the app and has helped the locket attract hundreds of new members. According to the company, 17% of these 5,000 fans were new to locket.

    Although Moss says that the reaction of the examiners has been good, it is not clear that it will help the locket increase its user numbers.
