I was disappointed with the standard of planetary mixer in the market. I have passed four of them in the last 10 years. I was so, why is my dough so inconsistent? This may not be that bakery and pizzeria are ready to accept such places.
I did a lot of research with restaurants around the world and it kept returning to just one spiral mixer. And then so well, all these spiral mixers are like $ 2,000.
Initially the onset of Oni and then the spiral mixer is an interesting link. There were no good options for home users. And even those who can like you, if you spend it like $ 1,000, they look really industrial and are like tractors since the 60s.
And so there was a really good opportunity for us to make something that we know that our customers will fully love because we want one of these, and we can potentially bring too many other people into folds.
Now we have these two right ways for customers to enter the world: you can either buy a pizza oven or you can buy a mixer. And when you buy one of them, you fall in love with it and then you buy another. At least what we are expecting.
It will be interesting to see where it is later this year. We are super proud of the product. It is challenging the market properly which was not really so much innovation for a long time. There are some players who have settled in their comfortable positions among market leaders, but they did not have to do anything interesting.
It will be really interesting to see how much mixer our business really becomes in the future. I think it can be a proper bit. It is not just a pizza flour mixer. If you make bread at home, it is the best mixer to make bread at home. And I say that without any hyperbole.
You can make cookies and cakes and all these types of things, but our customers, especially if they love this sour, they like to cook their bread at home, it opens a new level of possibilities.
