A Pokémon The fan has allegedly lost around the “20 -year data” from a long -running game series after transferring a system from switch to switch from switch.
Now reddit Post (thanks, Ign), User Thotaku 26 states that Pokémon in their sev file was brought back to GBA from previous generations. He said that the transfer “recovered”, every other Pokémon game maintained its related savings, but the Pokémon Scarlet’s file had disappeared.
“I just got a switch 2, startup and initial data transfer without any problem. My Scarlet Save File is gone. It directly loads the language selection and makes a character screen. No data on my OLED. Just all have gone.
“There was absolutely no error in the data transfer. It is cured. All my other Pokémon data are still there, but not scarlets. I had mons from my original GBA to present. Literally the value of 20 years of data. I can’t do anything. I don’t even know that I want to play anymore.”
To make cases worse, Pokémon games are only part of a small handful of switch titles that are not compatible with cloud sev functionality offered by online nintendo switch.
The option is that Pokémon Home should be used to save those beings that you consider as extremely value. Some reddit commentators including Iamthawire said that the original poster should have considered this before transferring the switch 2 system:
“The fact that you have not moved all your important Pokémon to the first house, first you are on. We know that this is the only way to preserve your Pokémon in such a situation or if your old switch is broken, otherwise they will go away forever. I have done it to be safe because it’s not easy to move back.”
Others, however, have been slightly more sympathetic, with the Gruchi -Cres -215 that the same happened to them when the tears were shed.
It is not really known what happened to the Save file in this example. The author booted his copy of Scarlett on Switch 2 and raised it properly, where he sent on OLED, but it seems that fate did not have the same plan that was for Atotaku26.
Take it as a lesson, however, people. If you have created a collection of Pokémon dating back generations, consider using Pokémon Home, which happens something similar in (unlikely) to protect cute critics.
