The Android XR-based headset project Muhan, coming from Samsung, has been drip-fired from December last year, making the headset its most recent presence during Google I/O 2025 in mid-May.
But for all public showing headsets, Samsung has not shared several details about Mohan. A new leak recently pops up from leikar Abhishek Yadav on X (Through Android Central) This is the purpose to reveal some hardware glasses.
Yadav posted a screenshot of a Geekbench test for the “SM-I610,” headset model number, labeled device,
Depending on that screenshot, Mohohan seems to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Plus General 2 processor, a Snapdragon chip manufactured for XR. The chipset contains an adreno 740 GPU adapted to gaming and 3D environment with high refreshing rates.
The XR2 has six cores, which are seen at the speed of 2.36GHz. This is a similar setup found in some best Android phones. The headset posted single and multi-core scores of 990 and 2,453 on Geekbench, measuring CPU performance.
From there, it seems that the device was running Android 14, although Google is creating Android XR. An Android-based OS means especially like the upcoming XREL project aura for headset and smart glass. So, it is not clear whether it is an old build or if the XR is built on top of Android 14 and is not Android 15 or upcoming Android 16.
The Geekbench listing also shows that the device tested had 16GB RAM.
No glasses, but some quality time

Samsung refused to share any glasses during Google I/O last month, my colleague Philip Michaels got some head-on time with Project Moohan.
He said that he likes to wear a headset: “It was not particularly heavy during my demo – I was definitely not eager to remove it, because I am mostly time when trying on the headset.”
We still have questions about glasses and pricing for the headset, but wearing and using Samsung feels that it will be a well -designed experience.
As Michaels said, “I was killed by how much Google apps running on Android XR love for virtual space. This is the experience that is eventually determining how people react to Samsung’s upcoming headset.
Samsung has announced that the Android XR headset should come before the end of 2025, but a specific date has not been revealed.
