Privacy-focused productivity equipment company proton released A new authentic app Today, users allow users to log in to services using a two-factor authentication code.
Free app is available on all platforms starting today, including iOS, Android, Windows, Macos and Linux. The app allows users to sync code and accounts in equipment. The company said that like its other products, the proton authentic is open source and user uses end-to-end encryption to protect data.
The company said that users can easily import login code from other authentication apps. Also, the app automatically backups the code and works without any internet connection.

“Two-integral certification is necessary for everyone-only for those who care for their privacy. The proton authentic is designed for anyone who wants a safe, transparent and convenient way to protect their accounts,” Iman Maguire, the leading account safety in the proton, said in a statement.
“We believe that strong security should never come at the cost of your convenience or privacy. That is why we have developed a proton authentic: to give users peace of mind that their 2FA code is available, wherever they need them, without relying on Google or Microsoft. We are not only controlling their data, but they say they said.
A two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of protection to users users using an app to prevent the attackers from taking accounts. While SMS-based two-factor authentication is another option, it is often unsafe for SIM swapping attacks, in which the attackers can stop your calls and messages.
The proton is on a product-relief race. Earlier this week, the company launched a privacy-centered AI chatboat called Lumo, which does not hold any conversation records or user user data to train the model.
