- Three out of five businesses are searching for Quantum AI
- Data is an important application for Analytics and Machine Learning Tech
- High costs and lack of knowledge and skills are obstacles for full adoption
New research has claimed that business is more familiar than Quantum AI, which you can expect, then five out of five are actively investing or searching for technology.
A report by SAS has shown how the most popular application of technology is in data analytics and machine learning (48%), with research and development, quite close to third place (35%) in second (41%) and cyber security.
Supply chains and logistics (31%), finance and risk management (26%) and marketing (20%) are also areas that are being discovered for the use of Quantum AI.
Quantum AI AI may have next development
The company said that ‘Quantum AI’ is a combination of AI as we know today with the power of quantum computing, enabling the development of new algorithms, models and other systems that can process complex data, can train complex ML models and solve problems that will be considered excessively or uncomfortable with today’s technology.
However, general obstacles apply according to any new technology, high cost (38%), lack of knowledge or understanding (35%), uncertainty about real -world use (31%), trained workers deficiency (31%) and lack of regulatory guidelines (26%) prevent all businesses from being able to look into more detail.
The SAS also admitted that quantum computing and quantum AI have a lot of publicity, saying that research in today’s subject could be misleading.
SAS Principal Quantum Architect Bill Visotski said, “With the emergence of quantum technologies, companies can analyze more data than ever and can receive a surprisingly rapid answer to very complex questions related to innumerable variables.”
Although many people argue that cases of quantum AI use can still occur for years – or decades, paving today and many enterprises are already starting to detect applications of emerging technology.
Major industries prescribed for benefits from quantum AI include life science for drug discovery, financial services for risk management and manufacturing for customized procedures.
