Change can be scary – especially when it turns into something you trust every day. So I am speculating that the news of the imminent iOS overhaul is that Apple will announce in WWDC 2025 next week that some quarters are being estimated like a visit to the dentist.
I mean, I am definitely nervous about what is going to happen in iOS 19 (or what is going to happen in iOS 26, which is rumoring). And the natural inclination for mistrust changes only increases when you listen to phrases such as the “biggest iOS update in a decade”.
There are certainly here and there are ticked, but the iPhone interface now looks a lot like we are using iOS 7 since. It has comfort, and the idea that it is all about changing at the end of this year.
It does not help to assess the interface updates really hard until you find them to see them in the person. We can talk about all rumors that are going to apply in Apple iOS 19 and are previewed in other software updates WWDC, but as long as we are not really using ourselves updates, who knows how smooth the infection will be.
We will not be completely clear that Apple is planned as long as the iOS 19/iOS 26 preview is running as part of the WWDC 2025 Keenot on 9 June. But I am spending some time to review some leaks and rumors about the proposed changes. And I feel very less worried about the possibilities of an interface update as a result. here’s why.
iOS 19 Interface Update: What’s hope here
Our best at the potential iOS 19 changes is that the front page posted by John Prose has come from the tech video, although not everyone is assured that some of those screen captures reflect Apple’s final plans for their iPhone software. Still, a iOS 19 Preview Video Posted about a month ago, it seems that it seems based on the most updated information about Apple’s plans, at least as the prossseer explains it.

Looking at the video, some things are standing out, which begins with the goal – although not completely circular on the screen of the house – icon. A lot of visual elements posted designs are rounders, especially sliders in the widget and control center. When you interact with the interface, animations are a refresh-the process describes them as more liquid and bouncy-and the lock screen is a glass-like flicker for some elements such as shortcuts.
For me, the most notable iOS 19 interface changes are translucent menu that pop up on home screen when you press and press on an icon. Do this in iOS 18, and you will see the same pop-up menu, but it is clearly more opaque. And you will find a lot of elements at the bottom of your iPhone screen such as the search bar and a new dock which will be part of the underlying apps of the iPhone.
All this will look very familiar if you have ever been stranded on the Apple Vision Pro, as the interface change appears to be inspired by the look of Visionos – the stage for Apple’s spatial computing headset. I did not have the vision with Pro, but my colleague Mark Spoonor. And his Apple Vision Pro Review noted a lot of visual elements such as transportal panels and streamlined menu that appear that they are coming to the iPhone with new iOS updates.
If you are in a pro-vision-free boat like me, I would suggest reading it Macromers are likely to make their way for post iPhone on visionos elementsThis helps explain how more work on the transported menu, floating navigation bar and headset and how they can translate into a separate device like iPhone.
After reviewing all of them and IOS 19 Ridigine Mockup looked closely, I am very nervous about what is going to show in Apple WWDC 2025. In fact, at the risk of publicly being very wrong, I am not ready to think that iOS 19 Redesign is not a deal after all. And I mean that in a good way.
How did i learn to worry about iOS 19
When I say that iOS 19 interface update will not be a big deal, I am not talking about the look of software. IOS 19 is going to look different from the images we have seen so far from the images running on the iPhone. And while it is definitely going to use, it does not seem that changes in those interfaces are fundamentally changing how people use their iPhones.
Oh, there will be some changes in that regard. It seems that the search menu are located at the bottom of the screen, at least in apps such as messages and music. But this is not a bad thing if you like to use your phone one-hand or are used for safari layouts already under the screen.
When I can tell, it seems that when you switch to the tab in one of the apple apps, there is more visually animation with that tab, which is more prominently highlight than the iOS 18. This sounds like a great change for me, because I appreciate anything that makes it easy to remember where I am just in an app at one glance.
Particularly a visionos style element that I hope that iOS makes grade in 19 – less disorganized menu. Since you navigate the vision pro with your eyes, you need a space-out menu so that it is clear what you want to choose when you want to choose something. I think iPhone can benefit from this, as it can reduce the number of incorrect taps where you choose the wrong item from the drop-down menu.
Again, such changes are not fundamentally re-shaping how you use your phone-they are fixing the process you already have. For me, this iOS 18 to iOS 19 will make it very easy to manage infection.
iOS 19 outlook
I reserve the rights of Hoot and Holler during WWDC 2025 Keenote if I am wrong and find that the Apple is trying to reinforce the wheel in the case of the iphone interface. But swimming changes around there seem to be more evolutionary than anything. And this change can be left behind.
