RingCon is gradually becoming a weak smart ring in the competitive wearable market. Over the past few years, the company has established itself as an affordable, subscription-free alternative to high-end smart rings, particularly the Ora Ring.
high blood pressure detection
High blood pressure detection or insight seems to be a prevalent feature in the latest generation of smartwatches and rings, and the RingCon Gen 3 doesn’t miss out. RingCon’s Blood Pressure Insights feature monitors blood pressure trends for risk assessment – not diagnosis. The ring does not provide accurate blood pressure readings.

The smart ring is also getting a longer battery life, although how much RingCon will extend it is still not decided.
smart vibration
One feature that is slowly but surely making its way into all smart rings is the smart vibration feature.

The ring will buzz to notify wearers of the health alert. I’m excited to see this feature in action, as it finally brings a sense of timeliness to a screen-less and notification-free device. We’ll see if people are happy with this feature, given the fact that most people buy smart rings for their screenless builds and phone-dependent functionalities.
New finish and shape
The ring will come in five new finishes: Brushed Silver, Brushed Gold, Polished Future Silver, Polished Royal Gold, and Matte Black. Ringcon has expanded its size offerings to 10 sizes, starting at a size 6 and going up to a size 15. Like some other details of the RingCon Gen 3, the price of the smart ring is unknown at this time.
