The future of ARC System Works’s fighting game series Guelty Gear has been clearly setback, recently claiming a new entry (which was “yet officially declared”) canceled.
According to Insider Gaming, anonymous sources say the title “within the last few weeks” was canceled, but no specific cause has been provided. The arc system for the same outlet comments has reached to work, but has not heard back.
A source said how the new project was effectively “back to the drawing board for the franchise and its future.
Arc system works most recently Marvel Tokon: Fighting Sols – A new 4V4 fighting game that is supported by Sony Interactive Entertainment and will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC next year. Therefore, most of the attention is going to be done on this game in the immediate future.
This rumor follows the release of the gear guilty on the Nintendo switch earlier this year. Unfortunately, this particular platform is still waiting at DLC.
