“Project Hell Mary” was not a film that I did on my radar. But after seeing the trailer that MGM Studio Bus fell, it could be one of my most anticipated films of the next 12 months.
Based on the comments YouTubeI am not alone.
It is based on the 2021 novel of Science-Fi Adventure film Andy Veer, which is most famous for writing “The Martian”. Although this new book is not the same by which I am familiar, it is clear that it has a lot of dedicated fans.
It can sometimes be a recipe for disaster for a film or show, but it seems that those who loved the book are ready for the film. After seeing this trailer, I am there with them.
What is ‘Project Hell Mary’?
“Project Hell Mary” saw Ryan Gosling as Ryan Gosling, who woke up from a coma, stuck in space. As he states, he is “not an astronaut.”
However, what he seems to be the last hope of humanity.
In this alternative version of the Earth, our sun is dying, as the most sun in our galaxy – except one, in the Tau Seti system.
So Eva Strat (Sandra Haller) has put a team and a ship together to find out together, in the hope that it can somehow save our solar system. To succeed that team, he needs a grace, who appears to have only a school teacher, receives a doctorate in molecular biology.
‘The Martian’ + A Hopli Friendly Alien = ‘Project Hell Mary’
After viewing this trailer just once (let me have many times alone), it is clear that the film is immediately comparable for “The Martian” and “Interstaller”.
I fully expect that it will usually share more with the East, even though it travels through space in desperate hope to protect the man from the conspiracy of the normal “intersteler”. Not only the books are written by both the “Project Hell Mary” and “The Martian”, but the screenplay is written by both Drew Goddard.
So it is no surprise that this trailer sounds like “The Martian”. Matt Demon’s botanist astronaut Dr. There is no need to make a big jump to compare Goslating of a middle school science teacher Gosling with a doctorate for Mark Watni.
You also get the same mixture of humor in the face of the cold, disabled nature of space travel. Even a promising supporting artist is – one of the great strength of “The Martian” – including “The Beer” from Lionel Boys and “Industry” from Cane Lewing.
Of course, there is one thing in this film which was not in “The Martian”, which is a foreigner.
Based on the trailer’s YouTube comments, it is clear that Grace’s relationship with this foreign, “Rocky”, is the main attraction of the film. When I arrive on March 20, 2026, I can’t wait to find out for myself.
