Samsung has launched its Android 16-based One UI 8 beta rollout for the Flagship Galaxy S25 series under the beta program. This update is currently available in select countries including South Korea, Germany, UK and America. A UI 8 beta update brings the OS version to Android 16 and introduces features related to productivity, safety and access. This enables beta testers and developers to test firmware before it is publicly released.

Samsung shared details about a UI 8 beta program News -Mem PostIt has been introduced for all three major Galaxy S25 lineups; Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to the company, a UI 8 beta update has been made available in Germany, America, UK and South Korea. This can be included by signing up for beta program through Samsung member app. The company highlights that the features of the update may vary depending on the country or region, which remains in the user.
This update will also be available out-off-the-box in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Foldables, which is expected to be unveiled later in this summer.

Samsung says that a UI 8 beta bundles to improve the daily use of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve everyday use. It targets three major elements-Multimodal functionality, adaptation to instrument form factors, and individual east-Sugandha.
The first enables AI to identify on-screen content in real time for “natural interaction”. Meanwhile, the UX has been in line with various forms of galaxy products to increase productivity and efficiency to distribute interactions adapted to the user’s daily routine. With auto-full suggestions, the reminder app with preset templates has been improved. Users can share files, such as a list, with the same tap with its loved ones, while information can also be combined through a voice-based command.
For accessibility, Samsung allows users to pair and connect the Bluetooth hearing ad device directly into accessibility settings. Additionally, users can make the on-screen keyboard keys larger and adjust the zoom settings by pressing the button shown on the screen. Released notes mention that Galaxy users can now challenge each other by running distance challenges. They can also set a reminder to keep an eye on food intake in the Samsung Health app.
