Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra touched to get 200-megapixel Sony camera sensor

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is expected to be launched in January next year, but the initial leak has already highlighted the light as to what to expect from the flagship. A new leak states that some camera upgrade for the Galaxy S26 Ultra is in the upgrade pipeline. Samsung is expected to pack a new, big 200-megapixel main camera sensor on the top-end phone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra successor is expected to debut with Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 2 chipset and 16GB RAM.

Vibo claimed that on Chinese tipster fixed focus Digital Digital Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra Will There is a 1/1.1-inch 200-megapixel Sony CMOS sensor facility. Samsung is expected to use this sensor for the main camera. This rumor will be 1/1.1-inch 200-megapixel sensor Galaxy S25 Ultra and a major upgrade on 1/1.3-inch sensor found in the previous model.

The rumored camera sensor can increase the quality of the picture compared to the current 200-megapixel shooters. It will also mark a change in Samsung’s imaging strategy. The South Korean brand has so far used its in-house 200-megapixel sensor for the Galaxy Ultra smartphone.

Recently a rumor suggested that the Galaxy S26 Ultra 200-Megapixel Isocell HP2 will come with camera sensor. The phone can sports a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope sensor with a 50-megapixel ultra-angle camera, 12-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor and 5X optical zoom. This is expected to introduce the next generation mandatory engine.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S26 Ultra early next year with upgradation on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This can be unveiled with Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26. The brand is rumored to shut down the plus variant next year.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 2 chipset, which is expected to be announced in September this year. The phone has been touched to pack 16GB of RAM. It is likely to obtain IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone is estimated to offer a 6.9 -inch panel as its predecessor, which is likely to be thin bezels.
