Relatively, we are a few seconds away from Samsung’s summer Galaxy Unpacked Event, and will not prevent leaks. Samsung is expected to reveal the trio of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 Fee, and New Galaxy Watch 8 Smartwatch.
Last minute leakage comes Rolland Ques of Winfuture, Who followed his Monday leak of marketing materials, which reveals new, unfortunate information about the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

New materials are less specified and more marketing facilitates, such as Z fold 7 weight “lower than a large bar of chocolate.” It also claims that Z Flip 7 will measure 6.5 mm when it will be revealed or “about the width of a pencil.”
But as Quandt notes, any content of Monday or today discusses S Pen on Z fold 7. This surprises us whether this is just another step towards the death of S Penn.
With previous Z fold phones, such as Z fold 6, you can buy S Pen Fold Edition separately and stored it in a dedicated case (it does not slot internal internal unlike S25 Ultra). Depending on the leakage of the Quandt, Z will not support the 7S pen.
This is an unfortunate step, as Tom’s guide phone editor John Velasco wrote about Z Fold 6 last year, “I don’t want Samsung to ignore (S Pen) for Galaxy Z Fold 7.” My colleague, Richard Prid also noted that Z fold 6 is in its best form when associated with S Pen.
Nevertheless, this year, Samsung has stepped back from S Penn, leaving Bluetooth functionality in the Galaxy S25 Ultra Style in a controversial downgrade.
Styles is one of the things that make Samsung devices unique among major phone manufacturers. This would be a great disappointment if the company had to kill it in a war against slimness.
Smartwatch
For not being left out, Kwandt also posted other marketing materials for Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). Ultra receives a new 64GB storage option and at least upgrade with a new colorway.
Galaxy Watch 8 and Classic Ultra appear to adopt square design.
Compared to Watch 6 Classic, 8 classic receives a large 64 GB storage, 445 mAh battery and a shape of 1.3 inches with a rotating bezel. The 6 classic has 16GB storage and 425 mAh battery.
The unpacked kick closes on Wednesday, July 9, which starts from East at 10 am.
