For the first time I used a Samsung phone with a UI 7, I wondered if I stopped receiving the notification. I look at the lock screen on my phone whether anything new is new, and after seeing nothing for some time, I felt that I was not doing anything. It was really working well, and my confusion was changing an important default notification setting due to Samsung. Now, after using a host of the phone with a UI 7, this is a setting that I immediately replace during the setup, and if you rely on the lock screen for information, it is the one you have to know about.
What is setting?

Samsung has slightly changed the way you show the notification indicators on the lock screen in a UI7. Earlier, icons were displayed under the clock in the center of the lock screen, making it quite easy to spot when something new, as well as the cards show more detail. In a UI 7, the notification icon has been moved to the top right of the lock screen, where they are small and very little noticeable, especially if you are used to look for them in the middle of the screen.
By default, no further notification information has been shown on the screen. In fact, I took a minute to do the work of what was different about the lock screen, but once I saw the new icon in the corner, I tried to use the notification performance back on the lock screen and use something else. Thankfully, Samsung gives you an option as to how the lock screen appears, which means its odd design decision is not fixed.

To make things again, you travel setting, NotificationAnd then Lock screen notificationHere, three options are available – dot, icon, card – and it is icon mode that is chosen by default. Those who want to see information at a glance on the lock screen should choose the card. This takes back the notification icon under the clock, and when you press the power key to illuminate the screen, the information appears.
Best of all, these cards can be expanded to show more expansion, and most also include some level interaction. It is surprising that Samsung decided to default the least useful notification mode, but when you find out that when you use the phone for the first time the lock screen looks so naked, it is very good to see a lot of adaptation.
Changes to make more a UI 7

Notification settings change every time I set a Samsung phone, a growing list of changes has been added to, but most are not unique to a UI7. They are Samsung omissions that are standard for years, but do not work for me, and stop the ideal -working phone from my perspective.
In any particular order, I ensure that always set on screen schedule (setting, Lock screen and AOD, Always perform)) Instead of tap-to-show options selected by default. This is a good example of a useful feature, which comes out of the box, possibly to help expand the battery life. I change the default browser from the Samsung’s app from Chrome, and Samsung keyboard to Google’s Gboard. These are better with my general use in many devices.
Notification settings change has been added to a increasing list of changes I made
I always change the default Samsung ringtone and notification sound. Either is nothing wrong, but if I want to hear the phone ring, I do not like that I have many other Samsung phones, where people never bother to replace the ringtone. I convert 4 × 4 home screen grid to 5 × 6 (press the home screen for a long time, select settingThen Home screen grid), And sort the app drawer into the alphabet (open the app drawer, tap on the menu button in the search bar, then sort) To get a long list instead of several pages.
Wi-Fi calling is necessary and is not capable by default, so it is necessary that I remember it to start in the Quick Settings menu. I would say that I appreciate Samsung that I am making buttons to create a button to activate Wi-Fi calling, nothing of some other manufacturers. Samsung still enables Android button as default navigation mode, so you have to change it to swipe it in gestures setting, Display, navigation bar,
Phone with a UI 7

Recently I have been using a UI 7 on Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, but after updating a UI 7 with Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy A56, there is a need to change the notification setting on the Galaxy S24 Ultra after updating a UI 7. If you have bought any one of these phones, or are patiently waiting for an UI 7 update on an old phone, some of these changes should be kept in mind that you set it.
After all this, my Samsung phone is ready for everyday use, and a UI7 settles in a very easy, sharp and reliable operating system. I am still adjusting the bizarre decision to place the search icon at the top of the settings screen, only you tap it after the search bar appears in the middle of the screen above the keyboard. But as some of these settings prove changes, Samsung enjoys us with your ergonomic decisions on your toes.
