The headset was unveiled earlier this year, but Samsung has so far provided a lot of details, glasses or a lot of release information, as it appears.

During the earnings call, Samsung had a section about the MX (or mobile) division that was about shared plans for the second half of 2025 stating that it would “detect new products such as XR.” It also indicated in a new Galaxy Tab S11 and a new Galaxy Watch.
Essentially, this section belongs to new products that Samsung estimates to be launched in the second half of this year. The Galaxy Watch is likely to be the first to be launched, as New Wearbals are usually introduced during the Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked Summer event in July.
On near examination, Google, who has participated with Samsung to create Android XR operating system platforms, is expected to reveal more about the platform during Google I/O 2025 at the end of this month (May). And it also indicates that XR is coming this year.
