Android security updates are important, and as soon as they will be available, you should install them. Even if you are using a Samsung phone, the government is still asking you not to ignore this latest update.

Google has been difficult to improve Android every time and then with new security facilities. Samsung is trying its best to spread awareness about these facilities. The smartphone manufacturer has partnered with the UK Home Office to spread the words about these features and to get Galaxy owners on their equipment.

If you did not get the announcement, then talking about Samsung Theft Protection Suits of features that make your Android phone easy to fix in case of theft. The suite contains three main features at the time of writing:

    • Stolen detection lock: The feature automatically locks your phone if it finds out that it is taken away from your hand.
    • Offline device lock: Shortly after your phone is offline, it automatically locks your screen.
    • Remote lock: You lock your phone from a distance using only a phone number.

Another important feature is Identification check, Which you require biometric authentication in unfamiliar places before changing sensitive safety settings on your phone. This feature is currently running a UI7 on the Pixel and Samsung phone. More manufacturers are expected to start rolling out these features with upcoming Android 16 release.

A feature that is currently exclusive to Samsung phones Safety delayIf you have got this feature competent and a robber tries to reset your biometric certification data, your Galaxy phone will automatically go into an hour’s delay before the change is effective. This gives you some time to lock your stolen phone from a PC or tablet.

Do not let the thieves get away with your phone

These facilities are not new. If you are one to dig in your phone settings from time to time, there is a possibility that you have already spot them, as long as you are using a pixel or Samsung phone. So if you are not already, go to your phone settings, search Theft ProtectionAnd immediately enable these features.
