When I first saw the deal, I was impressed with the Nitro V. For $700, you’re getting a laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 240 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 GPU, and 16GB of RAM. While it’s not the most powerful setup, it’s more than capable of handling everyday multitasking and tough games. One of its extraordinary features is mux switchWhich connects the RTX 5050 GPU directly to the display for better graphical performance. However, activating this feature comes at the cost of more battery drain.
This kind of laptop can run pretty hot, so Acer equipped it nitro v16 With a cooling system that features eight vents (four take in air while the other four expel heat) and two fans to manage the internal temperature during long gaming sessions. The 16-inch display also deserves a special mention. It runs at 1920 x 1200 resolution with a refresh rate of 180Hz, ensuring fluid and immersive gameplay.
Add to this features like Wi-Fi 6E, DLSS support for smoother frame rates, and Acer ProCam to automatically record game highlights, and you’ve got a solid gaming laptop at a price that’s hard to beat.

How I evaluated this deal
According to ZDNET’s rating system, I give this deal a 3/5. Acer’s Nitro V16 is a great entry point into PC gaming. You could spend that money on a PlayStation 5, but the hardware on a laptop like this will last you much longer. Overall it is a better investment. I don’t know when the deal will end, so I urge you to take advantage of this low price while it lasts.
