The new Crypto Task Force of the US Securities and Exchange Commission will start a cross-transit tour this month, to meet with small crypto startups and expand the number of people heard in Crypto Polic.
Under the leadership of Commissioner Haster Peerus, the task force plans to travel 10 cities from August to December, announced Press release,
The sessions are mainly for the purpose of crypto-related projects with less than 10 employees and for less than two years. Meetings will be held in cities including Berkeley, Boston, Dallas, Chicago and New York.
“We want to hear from those who were not able to travel to the roundateables in this previous spring at Washington, DC,” Peerus said in a statement.
“The Crypto Task Force is completely aware that any regulatory structure will have far -reaching effects, and we want to ensure that our outreach is as comprehensive as possible.”
The Crypto Task Force was launched in January under acting SEC President Mark Uyda to develop clear rules for the Cryptocurrency Industry.
