Tomorrow is Father’s Day in the United States, and what can be a better way to celebrate by highlighting the best dads from our favorite games?
Question: Who is your favorite video game dad?
Barrett Wallace – Ozi Mejia, Senior (Dog) Dad
Barret does not climb its mission to protect the planet from light. He does it for the world, but he also does to protect his adopted daughter, Marlene. After believing Daini after dying, the Barrett never leaves his love for Marlein and even if he does not want to leave his side, he knows what to do. He fights with the armies of Shinra in the hope that he can one day give Marlene a safe life free from the danger of Shinra once and for all.
And of course, it is not necessary to say (again) that I have not played the last fictional 7 story completely. But the Barrett FF7 remake has been the father of firm belief in the trilogy and his devotion to Marlene cannot be disputed. He could not be ready to become a father at that time, but he has since become A+. At least, this will be called Marlein.
Dr. Light – TJ Dander, Senior Fighting Robot Dad Appreciation
One can expect me to choose a boser here, but as much as I think the boser is calm, he definitely puts his children in the way of harem when it comes to Mario and his friends. I think a really good father is one that not only prepares his child for the future, but actively tries to make that future a better place.
For me, he with the mega man. It is light. Certainly, Rock is not his son in the traditional sense, but Dr. Light loves with rock and rolls as much as any parents will treat a regular human child. What is more, he constantly tries to find new ways to improve the world around the mega man. He does not want to fight rock. This is something about a requirement in the world in which they live.
Dr. Most of the works of Light moved to creating a peaceful world, where robots and humans lived in harmony. Although he could not live to fulfill his dream through the Mega Man X, it is difficult to argue that he has given everything to try to create a world in which his compositions and humanity can be in peace.

Garalt – Bill Lavoy, Shakemaps Overlord
Garalt is the only option here. Any story that incorporates a father’s figure, hit me as The Wichar 3. To save and save dozens of hours to find and save the search of geralt. The team of Santa Monica Studio did a tremendous job to change this PlayStation icon, and while some players can miss the simple days of mashing and smashing, I think the character is strong, both in the concept and someone is worth caring about.
SMS should also be said about how to portray crateos as a father. He tries to take Atrius on the right path, while against the idea that his son is a god with his will and desires. He wants to protect him, wants to teach him, and nurtures him, while also gives Atrius an opportunity to get his own path out.
Both the god of war and the god of war gave us an honest eye as to what it was as a father, even though it was through the lens of a god-blowing God.

Lee was a great hero and became a surrogate dad of Clementine by the end of the game. He decided to keep him safe and gave him knowledge that we would see his performance in the future season. “Black dads they don’t play about the child!” As my father used to say, and Lee was a prime example of that.
