The free tier of the signal gives users 100MB storage for text messages and is worth the media of the last 45 days. The company stated in its blog post that it collects the message after compressing them, and will be sufficient for 100MB “even heavy” users.

For users who want to store the media beyond the last 45 days, the company is offering a paid plan of $ 1.99 per month with 100GB storage.

This is the first paid feature of the signal, and the company said it is charging users to assist with the cost of storage in the preservation manner.
