In some ways, Silent Hill F represents a new beginning for revered suffrage. In Japan, the first new mainline entry over more than 13 years, the series name is away from the American Town, and during the 1960s, no less. To see how these changes are adopting this installment, I traveled to Conmi’s office in Tokyo, which was to play the first five hours of the title of survival horror. Despite fundamentally different settings and era, the silent hill F feels like a return to the classic entries, although to compete with some pain points.
If you are a newcomer for Silent Hill, not fret; Developer Neobards and Conmi Silent Hill F are assumed as a fresh slate divorced from canon installed canon, making it a stunning entry point. In the game, Shimizu Hinko is a rebellious teenage girl who lives in a small, secluded city of Abisugaka. Hinko has a domestic life. She hates her derogatory father and supports her subjected mother to allow her father to go with her to her. Perhaps this is the reason why Hinko dismisses traditional female roles and behaves more “masculine” in the lamp of his parents and even some of his friends.

Despite doing a difficult external project, Hinko thinks herself very little, writing in his magazine that “there is not a single extraordinary thing about me.” Hinko considers his elder sister, however, sees her as a protector and confidant. Unfortunately, her sister has been married since then and went out, left Hinko alone in a house, which she stops.
Hinko gets support in her childhood friend, shoe, and fellow friends Sakuko, a spanking girl, who meets a family of pilgrim priests, and more shy supports in Rinco, which can be a crush on the shoe. Unfortunately, it is not before a horrific fog and creeper -like vines like the Krimson vein oversion. I don’t know why or how this happens, but the village turns into a bad dream, yet his own beautiful version, thanks to the blood-red flower flower, goes beyond everything. The demons staring on the streets have replaced the residents of Abisugoka, and Hinko separates from his friends.
Speaking to the developer Neobards creative director Al Yang, Silent Hill F mainly draws inspiration from Silent Hill 1 and 2. In relation to the war, however, the team investigated the Silent Hill 4: The Room and its more scuffle-centered action. Do not expect to release guns in Silent Hill F; Hinko only uses close-ranges such as pipes, bats and knives. Weapons also degrade and break down with use, and you can only equip three at once. Although you can repair them using the tool kit, the challenge of Silent Hill F falls under the supervision of arms durability and determines if it is worth wearing a good weapon against a terrible enemy.

I make this determination often; Being in the narrow street of the village means that it is not as easy to ignore the enemies as it was in the game of the silent hill earlier. For example, I had to rely on Hinko’s dodge to avoid regular attacks, which expands a stamina meter. Execution of a final-second perfect dodge re-fills this time-an important skill to master because you will need your energy to overcome unavoidable hazards.
Staining, creatures such as effigy and terrible masked livelihood seems to be weighty and fitting clumsy (Hinko is just a child, after all), whether mild attacks or slow, more powerful heavy attacks, each performed using the right shoulder buttons. If this configuration looks suspicious, it is not completely wrong. Between deliberate attacks and the need to continuously monitor the stamina bar, Silent Hill F has shades with popular software from software.
While this is fine, the stamina of Hinko is revived very slowly to my taste. Even when you do not spend completely stamina, it feels about one and a half, which feels like an eternity before it starts to fill it again because it is unsafe for gradual attacks from very sharp enemies. The demons proceed quickly and incorrectly, and dodge the dangers like a leaping enemy that expands a ton of energy very quickly around the hinko. I often died of energy lack after dodging two or three attacks in a row. Hinko has described himself as a former track and field athlete in his magazine, so you feel that it will be better conditioning.

A large, almost soul-esk boss fight was a complete nightmare due to this stamina limit, not only in the literal sense. The best is described as a demonic child, a pointed hammer, a torn mawa of fluttering skin, and the priests are wrapped with long needles in the garments, he is a full-trapped fuel (especially since my demo station was near the statue of his life-size). Tireless attacks of this monster need to be constantly dodging, more than the delayed regeneration of your stamina meter. Talk on it that you need a stamina to pursue it along with retaliation when it starts to disappear/reappear around the arena, and it is difficult to take him down. I spent an hour in this fight and I was not alone. Every person I talked about sharing the same frustrations, and I hope that the creative director will be worked again to launch it after criticizing me.
When running is not an option, you can disrupt the enemy attacks by vengerating a glow of a gossip nervousness. This successfully surprises the enemy. While you can get it by keeping a sharp lookout – counter windows are fleeting – a mechanic called focus makes these openings easier. By holding the left shoulder trigger, the screen gets dark to better expose the screen and expand the duration of the inverse window.
Although the focus drains demonstrated Hinko’s luxury meter, a resource was also spent to carry out charge focus attacks. By holding attacks and focus buttons for a period, this special attack causes mass damage at the cost of purity. However, preparing this attack weakens Hinko, and the absorbing damage that disrupts your focus attack reduces the purity bar. Focusing like heavy weapons like a sledaimmer, allowing Hinko to be blocked against most attacks, but this arms increases the decline. To keep your head over water, an item wheel lets you use various treatment objects, as well as restores people who are on the fly.

The match can be very challenging, especially when more than one opponent is treated at once. I often died, serving as outposts in prayer temples. When it becomes difficult, the shrines provide opportunities to improve the opportunities of Hinko. For example, you can equip him with an omamori, attraction that adds auxiliary allowances, such as reducing the use of stamina. However, you can initially equip a single omamori at just a time, and I regularly swaps them during especially cruel encounters.
Shrine also allows you to offer prasad, whether found during the exploration of precious goods or to earn a particular currency called health items, such as some consumable materials, Vishwas. Spending confidence allows you to recreate your purity meter based on the amount spent. You can also use confidence to buy a new omamori from a random pool, a loot box in a way. I am not wild to get a new omamori on a dice roll, given that it not only spends hundreds of confidence points to buy, but each purchase increases the cost up to one and 100. I would like to save hundreds of confidence points when I do not even know if Ommori will be helpful in the situation given to me?
Labirinthine provides many other wonders, locations and secrets in the discovery of Abisugoka. This includes unexpected assistance to an esoteric and suspicious masked man. To match his white hair, was dragged into white garments, which the young man is yet to be seen, but he has supernatural abilities and seems to be helping Hinko to survive. Is it out of pure philanthropicness or if the masked man has his own frightening agenda, he would have to wait for the entire release, but Hinko faced many terrible signs to not trust this person.
Between fighting or escaping the demons, I had to face many wide puzzles, compulsory and alternative, discovering the foggy roads of Abisugoca. These puzzles can be as clever as they are crooked. A poem needs to be used to use a poem, which, filled with wooden pictures, to find the right pictures from scattered boards – all patrol blind animals sensitive to sound. While I enjoyed the most riddles, some scratched me my head, not in a good way.
At one point, I was trapped in a foggy, open farm farm, which took me back to my beginning, if I proceeded to aimlessly. It is necessary to find the right path that a specific creepy scarecrow from a large group of them, and my only clue was a secret message that felt a bit very vague. Whenever I thought I know what I want to see, I chose the wrong scarecrow, brought it to life to attack as a punishment. I made my way through five examples of this practice (which felt two rounds very long) and elasticity it was elasticating what I was doing anytime.

These exercises, with a sequence in an abandoned middle school, in which the door needs to unlock and avoid dangers, developed the best old mountain of the old. The inner needs to find the key to unlock some doors. You open bespoke puzzles to earn new items or clues. All the time, you will face all kinds of demons walking around. The open world includes some alternative structures that you can also see, such as the home of the city doctor, whose own mini secret is around its hideout.
It is not clear how many alternative locations, puzzles, or enemies face the Silent Hill F offering, but they possibly feed at several ends. The chain is true for tradition, there are five different ends of Silent Hill F. However, these alternative ends do not become available till other platriy. The first Playthrrow is exactly the same for all, as Neobards and Conmi want to tell a purposeful start with a purposeful beginning, middle and end.
Once you have seen canonical endings in your functions, the latter playthrough factor (how is unclear) and leads to the branching results. Neobards say that it did not write these ends as being “good” or “bad”. Rather, they will be ready for interpretation. And yes, one of the ends is a fan-psandida and silly UFO conclusion.

Silent Hill F raised her hair more than once on my neck, thanks to its terrible creatures and effective sound design, amplified by luxurious 3D audio. While I have some misunderstandings with war, I like the game presentation, setting and atmosphere. The puzzle-samadhan is clever and pleasant, and I have been ignored to see where the story goes (especially branching ending). Depending on what I played so far, the game is not only checking a strong silent mountain game box, but a fun existence horror experience.
Perhaps more than anything, I am happy to see the Silent Hill franchise firing again on all cylinders. Silent Hill F creates a strong entry that maintains the positive speed of last year’s Great Silent Hill 2 remakes.
