“Sinners” is one of the best films of the year. In my opinion, it is “dusk til don”, but better, and our senior writer Elix Blackburn declared it “a favorite film of 2025” so far, when he reviewed it for us.
It is also a box office sensation. The film is still in theaters tons, and in the previous weekend it was the number 2 film at the domestic box office despite the age of almost a month.
But until you saw this film quickly, you can miss it in IMAX, and you almost certainly miss it in IMAX 70 mm.
If you remember it in IMAX 70 mm and want the way you can see the director Ryan Kougler, then I have good news for you. The “sinner” is officially returned to IMAX 70 mm for only one week – starting today (May 15).
Where can you see ‘sinners’ in IMAX 70 mm?
While “Sinners” IMAX is back in 70 mm, not every theater can show movies in this particular big format. Only nine theater will be showing it from today (15 May) to 22 May.

- Cineplex Cinematic Von at Woodbridge, Ontario (Canada)
If you do not have one of these theaters, you may have a local theater, which can show “sinners” in a large format such as IMAX Digital, Regal’s PX RPX, Screen X or Good Ol ‘Fashion 70mm Film.
After seeing it in IMAX itself, I recommend you to see it as much as possible. The sound and views of “sinners” are breathtaking, and it will be more detail to look at a large screen and the full sound will be worth high price.
When is ‘sinner’ coming in streaming?
If you cannot exclude it from the theater, “sinners” will eventually come into one of the best streaming services.
First, the Vampire film will come in a premium video-on-demand services like Amazon and Apple. Then, the “sinner” will be available to stream at the maximum.
Depending on the other recent Warner Brothers release, I currently predict that “sinful” will arrive on PVOD on HBO Max by the end of the month and for the weekend of July. When “sinner” is coming to streaming for more information, look at our full guide.
What about ‘sinners’?
“Sinners” Michael B. Jordan was asked to do double duty in the form of similar twins Eliza (“Smoke”) and Alias (“Stack”) Moore. He has returned to his Mississippi delta hometown Clarksdel after years in the First World War and after working for the Chicago organization.
With his cousin “preacher boys” (Miles Catan), they are working to open a joy joint for the local black community. To do this, they recruit a handful of old friends and family, including their cousins, a blues artist, an incredible gift for parlokik music.
Unfortunately, it is the same gift that will eventually bring the vampires – and potentially doom – Clarksdel.
