Most of the focus on AI in education is how students will be affected by AI equipment. Many people are worried that cheating AI of critical thinking skills and AI erosion will reduce their quality of education. However, the latest education report of Anthropic focuses on the teachers’ approach on AI in class – and some surprisingly reveals that teachers are implementing technology.

AI companies are aware of the experience of stress users between using AIs as a copillot or support and allows it to automate parts of their work. Anthropic analysis shows how teachers are navigating that stress, and those options differ on a case based on the case.

Some teachers are automated to grading
Anthropic found that AI’s most common use for teachers were courses development (57%) and educational research (13%). In the case of a small use, however, Anthropic found that the remaining 7% of the teachers used clouds to “assess the student’s performance”, including reacting to students, grading against rubricics, and summarizing the evaluation-many teachers shared that despite the Autalluk.

Anthropic stated that the suggesting of automatic grading belongs to a high percentage – essentially expressing an alarm on the idea that teachers are handing over such a sensitive part of teaching to AI. Anthropic wrote, “It is not clear that to what extent the factor of these AI-related reactions in the final grade and feedback shows the conversation exposed by our research to the cloud.”
Other methods using teachers AI
Cases of other unique use found in data include creating mock legal scenario for educational simulation, developing workforce training materials, drafting recommended letters and making meeting agenda.
While the North Eastern Faculty reported AI as a more common case for its own learning, Claud.AI analysis was not able to confirm it due to challenges with the filtering mechanism. The Northeast Faculty suggested that teachers are taking advantage of AI for these tasks as AI can automate teduned tasks, cooperate as an idea partner, and personalize learning experiences for students, according to reports.

Beyond the use of existing equipment to help the classroom, teachers are also building their own AI equipment. For example, Anthropic stated that teachers are often using the convenience of their artworks, which allows users to create an app without coding to create “interactive educational materials”. These works include interactive educational games, assessment and evaluation tools, data visualization, academic calendar and scheduling tools, budget planning, and more.

A university contract can be attractive, separating the debate about the role of AI in education for a moment – as can create a student dependence on your equipment to get through a difficult semester.
