Sony Bravia Theater System 6, Theater Bar 6 launched in India: Price, Specification

Sony Bravia Theater System 6 and Bravia Theater Bar 6 were launched in India on Monday. The latest audio products of Japanese brand come with support for Dolby Atomos and DTS: X Technologies. The Sony Bravia Theater System 6 has 5.1 channel configuration and 1000W output. Meanwhile, the theater bar comes in a 3.1.2 setup with an up-firing speaker on the 6 soundbar. They also carry an integrated user interface (UI) which is compatible with Sony Bravia TVS.

The price of Sony Bravia Theater Bar 6 is Rs. 39,990. It will be available for the purchase starting from 1 July. Price of Bravia Theater System 6. Can be purchased on 49,990 and 3 July.

Both will be available on Sony Sound Jabars Sony Center, Sony Exclusive Stores, Offline Electronic Store, Sony Center website and e-commerce platforms.

The Sony Bravia Theater Bar 6 Soundbar has a 3.1.2 channel setup which includes a dedicated wireless subwofer as well as a central-channel speaker and two up-firing speakers at one time. According to the company, the up-firing speakers sound vertically for a more immersive soundscape. This unit has 350W output.

Meanwhile, the Bravia Theater System 6 is a 5.1 channel surround sound system with 1000W-rated output. It consists of a subwofer, a central-channel soundbar and two rear surround speakers. The soundbar comes with a multi-star-star feature, which is claimed to repeat the stereo sound from the left and right channels to the center and rear speakers.

Both audio products, Sony Bravia Theater System 6 and Theater Bar 6, are equipped with a night mode, which is asked to soften the dialogue and softening the loud impact by increasing the subtle sounds. There is also a voice mode that increases speech in films or shows a show with a layered soundtrack.

Soundbers also include Sony’s ownership vertical surround engine and S-Fores Pro Front Saround Technologies. They are claimed to create a virtual surround sound effect without the need of a dedicated rear or overhead speaker. Another feature is Voice Zoom 3 that takes advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine learning algorithm to highlight the speaker’s voice in real time.

According to the company, Sony Bravia Theater System 6 and Theater Bar 6 come with an integrated UI when a Bravia is connected through TV. Users can control various sound area adjustment through single remote. In addition, volume and other settings can also be controlled through the Bravia Connect app.
