Rumors of many smartphones focus around Apple and Samsung, especially with a lot of chatter around the Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple’s equivalent slim phone, called iPhone 17 Air. However, they are not the only companies due to launching smartphones before the end of the year.
Sony is also due to announcing its next major phone in the next few months. A leak to Xperia VII – as it is said after Xperia VI – appeared in early April and now the device has been seen on Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) website.

Mysmartprice raisedNCC listing suggests that Xperia will come in VII Black, Navy Green and Purple, facilitates a similar design for its predecessor and comes with a triple rear camera within a pill -shaped design.
Purple is quite important because Xperia IV was available in that color, but we have not seen it for a few years, while similar design will not be appreciated by Xperia fans. The omnipresent design is a Sony that is stuck with a long -term flat edges and a flat front and a signature look for a black brand.

Depending on the images posted with NCC listing, Xperia VII will measure 165 mm long and 74 mm wide, which would make it a little longer than its predecessor that measured 162 mm. The top right to the right also appears to be a 3.5 mm headphone jack – a rareness in the smartphone these days – while the camera setup on the rear has zes branding.
The listing has not revealed any further details, but previous reports suggest that Xperia VII will sports a 6.5 -inch display, such as Xperia VI, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite 8 platforms. So far there is no word on the launch date, but Sony usually announced her flagship Xperia phone in May, which was a month or later before it was released, so we would not be surprised to see some more leaks in the next few weeks.
