In a bid to make your AI DJ feel more interactive, Spotify is updating the facility to allow users to request music or allow a playlist to change the mood of a playlist. The company is starting this feature, initially supported only in English, in more than 60 markets for its premium customers.
Earlier, the users could listen to AI DJ Play songs with only a few tracks. Now, the facility is becoming interactive.
Users may ask AI DJs to change the mood or style, or it can play the track with specific artists.
To use AI DJ, you can type “DJ” in the search bar, then catch the DJ button to the bottom right to request through the voice command. If you want to change the spirit of the playlist without making a specific request, you can quickly press the DJ button.
Spotify first launched the AI DJ feature in the US and Canada in February 2023. The company later rolled it globally in August 2023. Last year, the music streaming company added support for a Spanish -speaking AI DJ.
The company’s other large AI facility allows users to create a playlist using the text prompt.
