Spotify Known for the algorithm of its best-in-class recommendations, but there are also a ton facity to keep users under their music control. Tomorrow, company Announced Some new buttons and settings that will make your playlist even easier to keep, as you want them-including a new snooze feature that gives you a 30-day break from songs that you are hearing too much.
Spotify’s algorithm is good, we all have focused on songs that are played three times a day and keep on popping back in the rest of the week. With new snooze feature, premium users can choose to take a break from songs that they often hear for a full 30 days. During that time, it will not appear anywhere in your recommendations – and with any luck, you will be happy to hear it again when 30 days. If not, you can snoo it again.
For more permanent solutions, you can also use hidden buttons to prevent a song from playing in a certain playlist. If you normally dislike the artist, you can also block them, so Spotify will not recommend your music.
Premium users will also get more control over their queue. Earlier, once the list of your queuing songs is over, Spotify would start playing random recommendations automatically that you could not see in advance. Now, those recommendations will appear at the end of your queue so that you can remove and keep the track of your choice. If you do not want recommendations at all, you can close the autoplay in your settings. In addition, like a normal playlist, you will also be able to use shuffles, smart shuffles, repeat and sleep timer on songs in your queue.
Finally, Spotify has worked a little back to the playlist management tool on mobile by adding ad, sort, and buttons on top of each playlist. If you are in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, United Kingdom or South Africa, you will be able to make a playlist directly with your choked songs.
While the snooze feature is currently being tested with premium users only, Spotify says it is planning to bring the facility for more listeners soon, so keep an eye on.
