Station 2: Heart of Charnobyl coming to PS5 later this year

Stocker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Survival-Herr Shooter from GSC Game World, is coming in PS 5 later this year, the developer announced on Wednesday. The first-person shooter was initially released last year on Xbox Series S/X and PC. Stagker 2 developed by Ukrainian studio amidst the Russian invasion of the country, despite being suffering from technical issues at the time of launch, sold more than one million copies.

Stalker 2 announced for PS5

The developer said in a post on X (East Twitter) on Thursday, “The perimeter expands – Stakker 2: Heart of Charnobyl has been officially declared for PlayStation 5.” The GSC Game World did not share a platform release date, but confirmed that the game would be launched at PS5 at the end of 2025.

The Stalker 2 dualsense on the PS5 will support the full range of controllers, including the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger, the developer said. The GSC Game World said that further technical promotion for the PS5 Pro version of the game was in development.

Stalker 2 is now available to the Vishlist at the PlayStation Store.

The world of GSC game also rolled Patch 1.5.1 For Stocker 2: Chernobyl’s heart, PC and Xbox series brought a host of fixed on S/X on Wednesday. The game was filled with bugs and glits when launched last year, many of which were addressed by the developer in a later patch.

Station 2 was released on November 20, 2024 on PC and Xbox Series S/X after several delays. After an extended gameplay trailer in E3 2021, the GSC Game World initially set the date of April 2022 for the game. Development was severely killed after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Some GSC Game World employees were also deployed on the struggle front.

In May, PS Plus Game Catalogs added the stocker: Legends of the Zone Trillogy, which binds the first three stagker titles – Shadow of Chorobil (2007), Clere Sky (2008), and Call of Pripate (2009).
