Nintendo Switch 2 has sold over 6 million units worldwide in seven weeks.
Nintendo shared his milestone Fiscal report For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, and the demand for console is still more than supply in some countries.
The much-awaited console has sold a 5.83 million units globally by the end of June-but has apparently kicked since then.
The sale of 2 hardware in Japan during Q1 is a total of 1.27 million units. Handheld-Hybrid sold 2.08 million units in the US and 1.4 million units in Europe in the same period. Nintendo said an additional 1.13 million units were sold in other areas.

Nintendo said the sale of the original switch remained “stable” (somewhat estimated) declined by 53.5 percent year-on-year. Nine -year -old console sold 980,000 units to reach 153.2 million lives during Q1.
The sales of Nintendo Switch software declined by 20.4 percent in 24.40 million units from year to year.
Nintendo Switch 2 is running on the ground
The net sales increased from 132.1 percent to 572.3 billion yen ($ 3.8 billion) from year to year, while the operational profit increased by 4.4 percent to 56.9 billion yen ($ 378.2 million).
Switch 2 was the largest sales driver in the Japanese company (Go Figure), in which Nintendo explained the high price of the console (compared to the original switch), with a greater increase in net sales.
The sale within the company’s IP-related business declined by 4.4 percent year-over to 16.7 billion yen-which was due to the declining revenue associated with the Super Mario Brothers film.
In the first quarter, digital sales decreased by 13.5 percent year after year and the total software sales increased to 59.3 percent.
Nintendo said, “Digital sales declined year-on-year due to a decrease in sales of downloadable versions of packed software and decrease in the effects of a strong yen.”
Nintendo is glued with its current financial forecast and expects to switch 2 hardware sales to reach 15 million units by the end of the financial year in March 2026.
