From next month, staying on T-Mobile wireless networks should be easier than ever, as the carrier has announced a plan to launch its satellite-to-mobile service starting on July 23.
T-Catellite initially launched with support for text messaging, with a plan to offer data connectivity on satellite in October.
The T-Catellite service is a result of a collaboration between T-Mobile and Starlinks which was first declared three years ago.
Today (23 June), the T-Satalite service will be included in detail by T-Mike Katj, the T-Satalite service, with the plan beyond the $ 100/month experience of T-Mobile, along with the old GO5G next plans. Other T-Mobile Plans will offer T-Satellite connectivity as $ 10/month add-on.
T-satellite: how it works
The T-Cattlete depends on the network of 650-plus satellites. Katz says that when there is no cellular connection, the phones will automatically connect to the satellite-based network, so whenever they are out of the range, users will not have to undergo a connection process.
According to T-Mobile, the current customer of the satellite connectivity carrier will work with approximately 75% devices used by the base. Katz says that almost any way has been included in the last four years.
Both Android and iOS devices will support text messages at the time of launch, and Android users will also enjoy support for MMS messaging. MMS for iPhone will follow support.
From October 1, the expansion of T-satellite will be in data-based connectivity, with satellite-capable apps from Accuweather, Alltrails, Apple, Google, WhatsApp and X, which are coverage season, mapping and messaging, other important tasks, when you are in a distance areas.
T-Mobile is also offering a developer tool to help prepare your own software for T-satalite data service.
The initial launch of the T-Satellite involves support for 911 textiles by T-Mobile customers, but in October, T-Mobile says it will expand emergency texting for any mobile customer of any carrier that uses a compatible phone.
T-Mobile announced a T-Satellite launch, which is part of an event to mark an award from the third-party testing firm Ocla, which T-Mobile is named the best phone network in the US, it is quite a change for the carrier, which was found in the final place in network performance surveys a dozen years ago.
Chief Operating Officer Srini Gopalan said, “We dream about not only the worst to the best, we really do so.” “We are two years before Verizon and AT&T and I believe the lead is going to grow.”
T-Mobile made two other announcements today with the aim of expanding its customer base.
The allowances given by the company to customers will now include a free dashpas subscription from the door. The dashapash normally spends $ 10/month and eliminates the distribution fee by reducing the service fee between other benefits. CEO Mike Sepert stated that the benefits would come in T-Mobile’s “most popular plans”, including the experience of more options beyond the current experience.
In a step targeting Verizon customers looking to switch to carriers, a new T-Mobile Promotion called an easy upgrade, which is an easy upgrade offer to pay the balance to Verizon for their current phone.
Those swithers will then receive a flagship phone-specially mentioned devices such as iPhone 16, Galaxy S25 and Pixel 9 from T-Mobile.
