- Reliable DJI Leikar shared the first teaser trailer for DJI Romeo from the official Chinese DJI X account
- The first robot of DJI suggests the launch date of August 6 for vacuum
- We also have better quality pictures of unusual looking robot vacuum
Rumors about DJI’s first robot vacuum-DJI Romeo-we are flying around for some time, but now we have our first official teaser trailer, which shows perfectly with an estimated launch date and some good quality images that show what bot can look.
Video teaser was shared by regular DJI Leikar @JasperellensAnd clearly the official Chinese DJI is taken from Romeo account. This shows two versions of Romeo over a date and time: August 6, 8pm. It would suggest that the launch is happening within two weeks.
The launch is especially important because it marks a major change in the direction for the brand, which is previously known to create some of the best drones in the market.
Although a DJI logo is not found anywhere on the product and it is the first white plastic that I have seen since #MavicAir … The official Chinese #Djiromo account today displayed this small video teaser, showing that he would launch his first vacuum cleaner on 6 August. We have also been treated for some clear imagery of robot vacuum in real life, courtesy of another serial tech leikar, Igor Bogdanov aka @Quadro_News,

What else do we know about DJI Romeo? Well, I am sure it will not be able to fly, so you can keep those dreams of a bot above your stairs to clean the bedroom.
From our glimpse inside the dock, we can clearly see a dust bag, confirm speculation that the dust has to be auto-khali (away from groundbreaking, but still useful). Previous speculation has suggested that Romeo will also have an MOP capacity, although I cannot see anything that looks like a water tank in the dock.
It is not necessary that the bot will not be able to do the MOP, but it suggests that this onboard will not be able to auto-refills the water tank or the MOP pad will not be cleaned and dried-the characteristics that are common between other premium robovac.
Based on expertise, we know that DJI Does Is, I will expect to find out the powerful object and see the family. The best DJI drone on the market uses vision technology and lidar to navigate with accuracy, such as modern robovacs.
A vague option
Both teaser trailers and supplementary video clips show Robovac with a transparent upper lid, which is docked in an equally clear-affected charge station. Earlier, we were uncertain whether this transparent plastic was part of a prototype version, but based on this further evidence, it seems that it would be part of the model that will go to the market – although with a version with a more traditional, opaque plastic cover on the dock.
In all my time, those who write about today’s best robot vacuum, I never looked that it looks quite like this. While the size of the dock is similar to the Roborock Cravo Curve, the transparent cover is, as far as I know, a unique feature. It is understandable that the DJI will try and create a specific look for its first forest in Robovac, and it is a beauty that the technical market is at the moment. But when putting insides on the display, nothing can work for the phone 3, I am not sure that it is a robot vacuum friendly.
Although it looks great in these promo photos, I am not sure that Roma will be quite ancient when the bot is kept for cleaning. Shiny plastic can draw dust and hair, and it is rare that I will test a robot vacuum that does not cover in the fluff within an hour or two, to get it out of the box.
Nevertheless, I am excited to see what DJI distributes through performance in its first robot vacuum, and it seems that I can’t be too long to wait.
