Minecraft-induced Sandbox RPG Hytaale has been canceled, but it is not necessarily dead. In view of the riot decision to pull the plug on development last week, the co-founder of Hypexel Studios, Simon Collins-Laflam, has expressed interest in the possibility of bringing it back to life, and says that he is ready to invest his money-there is a lot of money-where he has his mouth.
In 2018, Hytaale was revealed to the world, when it was already in development for “many years”, and developer Hypexel Studio was acquired by a riot a few years later. Instead of a employed 2021 release, however, many delays were followed: the developer update slowed into a crawl, and we really saw it nothing more than the 2018 declaration trailer. Earlier this month, the riot finally canceled the game, and the hypixel closed outright.
The immediate awakening of the cancellation of Hytale followed recurrence and finger-listing, as some developers took their disappointment with internal studio management in hypixels on social media.
But there was also an almost obedient push for “Save Hight”, including the outreach for the Collins-Laflam. He initially seemed reluctant to join it, saying that he has not seen the game since 2019 and hence the judge cannot do what kind of state it is currently, or what kind of team would be required to eliminate it.
As the pressure continued, however, his mind slowly begins to change. On 26 June, Colins-Laframe stated that he was thinking about it, and “was also down to put $ 25 million by himself to finish the Hight,” although he clarified that he had not taken any formal steps in that direction.
Two days later, he committed to reach out, although he asked the followers to “too low” their expectations, as it has been closed once to bring back such projects “next to impossible”. Even after arriving for the riot, he warned, “It will take months to achieve north and months.”
Since then, however, Collins-Laflam has settled in commitment. He posted on 29 June “No risk, no story“And shared a video posted by kweebecccorner of a messiah, which essentially completes his return.

Despite the enthusiasm, the caution of the Collins-Laframe has been well kept well a few days ago. The riot can provide Hytaale for acquisition and continuity, but also cannot be there, it may not even be that its potential future value is higher than the Collins-Laflam that is ready to drown in it. And even if the riot controls surrender, there is no guarantee that anything will come about it, as hytale as Hytaale has been hypnotized.
Nevertheless, all the fans have been excited by the fact that efforts are being made: a long shot is better than any shot. We will see where it goes from here.
