Why does Diya attract your attention?
What’s the big deal about Diya? As ZDNET’s Jack Wallen points out, Dia is a significant step up from the company’s previous browser arch. Like most technological advancements, this involves AI. The difference is that this is a completely agentic browser – a browser designed to automate your life.
As Wallen explains, think about your typical experience when you buy something online. Find what you need on Amazon or Google, find another retailer, look at the products, and find what you want.
With Dia, you can enter a prompt like, “I want a modern-looking men’s shirt with a blue and white horizontal striped pattern.” Your browser will scan the available options and present them to you, where you can click and make a purchase (it may not actually make the purchase for you yet).
Dia has a sidebar entirely dedicated to AI, which you can bring up at any time. You can chat about any tab you have currently open or even any tab in your browsing history. The built-in AI can also search the web, compare websites, summarize text, and more. You’ll also see a spelling and grammar checker in each text box. This video browser is from the company Provides a great overview and explains several “hacks” to unlock more possibilities.

The browser’s AI works like other chatbots, but it’s much easier to use because it’s integrated into the browser itself. Plus, Diya gets to know you – what you like, how you write, what sites you visit, etc.
Diya is available in browser Free and Pro ($20/month) tiersFree users get access to all core features including chat, custom skills, tab mentions, attachments, memory personalization, and a two-week Pro trial. Pro subscription adds unlimited chat usage.
