The perception is coming for otter.ai. On Tuesday, the company announced an update for Dharna AI, a suit of generic AI features available through its popular note taking app. The new devices included in the package have AI meeting notes, a feature that can transfer and abbreviate any interaction within the perception. There is no need to turn to dedicated software like otter.ai above.
If you use the assumption calendar, your meeting information will include the option to start the AI meeting note page. Alternatively, you can write “/meeting” to add transcription blocks to an existing note. Any conversation perception AI can be discovered for you through the Transcaribs app, and you can add what you get in any of your projects.
Talking about the search, now you can use perception AI to comb through many different productivity apps including slack, Google workpiece and Github. As long as you connect those platforms with perception, the app can solve natural language questions, such as, “What’s the latest on our upcoming brand campaign?” And order the result by the source.
Separately, perception is adding a research mode. Similar to deep research mode from Google and Openai, you can ask AI underlying AI to write a report for you. The difference here is that perception AI will draw information from your projects, besides what it gets online. The company is pitching it as a real time-seed. “Project updates, research reports, and internal best practices are made in minutes with a signal,” says perception. “We have already seen this savings days worth time.”
Last but at least, if you indicate with GPT-4.1 or Cloud 3.7 compared to your chatbot of perception, now you can do this directly within the etiquette of a new model picker. Openai and anthropic models will not have access to your workpiece data, but they are for users who prefer their reactions to general questions and if you want to turn to an argument system as Cloud 3.7 Sonnet.
